Sadler Garden Collections Welcomes You to Our New Blog
I am Pat Sadler, owner of Sadler Garden Collections. I would like to welcome you to my very first blog. Here you will get to know our company a little better, find out where we came from, what we do, what makes us different and about our values.
Sadler Garden Collections is a small family run business, located in the city of North Tonawanda, New York, about 15 minutes from Niagara Falls, USA and Canada.
I have spent most of my working life trying to figure out what I want to do when I grow up. I have always been a practical, hands-on, creative workaholic who enjoys meeting people.
In 1993, I decided to start a small hobby business called Across the Miles, for the purpose of making handcrafted wood products to sell in the craft show arena.
I branched out into the mail order catalog business and had some success with my nesting boxes and butterfly house with a few front covers for Langenbach.

Although I’ve worked in the PVC industry for most of my career, it wasn’t until about 1995 that I started to introduce PVC products for the craft market; and people went for it in a big way because of the maintenance free aspect. It was a wonderful feeling, and a great ego boost knowing that people wanted to buy my products!

Unfortunately, all good things come to an end and around 2000, I had to decide what I was going to do because I was missing my children growing up, and my day job (my security) demanded more of my time. I needed to take control of my life, so I closed down the business. It was a good move because it allowed me some time to get back into hobbying again and slowly create a line of new products such as my tube feeders and PVCedar birdhouses, enhance the old line, branch out a little into lawn accents and get into the newest color technology with my PVC extrusion supplier.
What a great time to be starting up again!

My family is now grown up and they help out with the business, as well as their own occupations. My wife, and aesthetics advisor, adds the stenciling touch to the nesting boxes.

I get a lot of social media guidance and website support from my daughter, and my son, who owns his own fence business called Sadler Fence and Staining promotes my products with his customers and helps me with craft shows.

So, what makes us different? Besides our family team work, it’s our materials. We use the finest quality PVC extrusions on the market today to build products that we hope will solve a problem for you, give you years of pleasure, be affordable and look good, plus bring your faith back into buying American-made long lasting products; the way life used to be!
We believe in selling a top quality product and provide the kind of customer service that you can trust. We are small enough to be able to live up to that belief and testimonials on our Etsy site will attest to what customers like about us.
