Installation Instructions
Sadler Garden Collections has for sale several products that require installation either in the ground, above ground, or in a planter box.
The list below shows each item and the ways they can be installed. Along with that are the steel supports that can be used for installation.
NOTE: When installing, please remember several utility lines are buried underground. It is recommended to call 811 to locate these lines prior to in ground installation.
Bird Feeding Station, Herb/Flower Tower (uses 5” x 5” post)
Option 1
These items can be installed using an existing wood post cut to length and built out with shims to make it 4 ¾” all around. The product will side over the wood post.
Option 2 (Purchase steel post with brackets, product code: EZPOST2)
Determine the final location of the installed product. Mark the location of the post hole. Hammer the post into the ground up to the first bracket. Slide the product over the top.
Option 3 (Purchase base with steel pole and brackets, product code: PBEZ2)
We offer bases that will allow you to install your product on a deck or patio. The base consists of a steel reinforced PVC framework, with a ¾” treated plywood base. There is a steel pole with brackets bolted to the base that the product will slide over. (It is recommended that the base be weighted down with stone or soil.)

Ivy Towers, Bird Towers, and Lattice Planters
Option 1
The base of the product is designed to fit over a 4” x 4” PVC post. If you already have a PVC post, you can simply purchase the tower only and fit it over the top of a PVC post.
Option 2
If you have an existing wood 4″ x 4″ (3 ½” x 3 ½”) post, cut to about 40” – 48”. A PVC post can be slid over it and the product sits on top, similar to a post cap. We can supply the PVC post (see price list) or you can pick one up at a local fence company or big box store.
Option 3
They can be installed using our 1 5/8” EZ-post with aluminum brackets. Simply drive the 1 5/8” post into the ground and slide the PVC post over it. The product then sits on top of the PVC post.
Option 4
They can also be installed on a patio using our PVC planter base with steel post and brackets. The 4” x 4” post will slide over the steel pole and the top tower will sit on the post, similar to a post cap. (It is recommended that the base be weighted down with soil or stone.)

Garden Angels
The Garden Angel is installed by sliding the product over a wood 4 x 4 post or a steel pole with aluminum brackets that is pounded in the ground.
